Update from Jason

Hey all, I just chatted with Jason very briefly on FB. Here is a quick little update for the parents, and anyone else following along...

Some answers to questions:
YES - They did get the int'l phone working, some students were able to make phone calls last night, some others will try and make calls tonight.
CUSTOMS Trouble - (I will use initials instead of full names for privacy.) The three that had to go through customs again was DE, KL and DL. Everything was fine, just a re-check.

**A note to DL's parents, Jason said he will have D respond to the email a little later if they can.**

Jason said he has plans to blog again tonight, so keep an eye out for that!! All is well!

Parents, if you have questions feel free to ask them in the comment section so Jason has one area to check to answer any questions if needed. You can also ask any questions on the VERB Student Ministry Facebook page.

To leave a comment, you can sign in, or use the anonymous option, just be sure to sign your name so we know who you are! :)

  3. Hey All- I keep thinking1 Tim 4:12-16 for you all. 12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,[a] in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. 15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

May it be a good seed in fertile soil. See you soon. JG we love you!

  4. Thanks April. I love getting updates. I'm sure JD has better things to do than call his mom, but would love to hear his voice. I know he will tell me all about his trip and how it affected him when he gets home. :-)
